Standard or Cancel For Any Reason — what's the difference?
Both plans share the same core coverages — trip cancellation, medical, baggage, and more.
The only difference is what happens when you cancel for a reason that's not
on the covered list.
Real-world situations travelers face — and how each plan responds.
Illness Before Departure
You get the flu two days before your trip and your doctor says you can't travel.
Both plans: 100% reimbursed
Hurricane Hits Destination
A hurricane makes your beach resort uninhabitable and you have to cut your trip short.
Both plans: Trip interruption covered
Work Emergency
Your boss asks you to cancel your vacation for a big project. It's not a covered reason.

CFAR: 60% back
Family Member Gets Sick
Your parent is hospitalized and you need to cancel your trip to be with them.
Both plans: 100% reimbursed
